Match Madness is a one-day giving celebration organized by the Greater Salina Community Foundation dedicated to building lasting support for Salina nonprofits like SJMS Historical Museum, helping them serve and strengthen these community organizations today and for generations to come.

Here’s how you can help SJMS Historical Museum: When you make a gift to the museum, the Greater Salina Community Foundation (GSCF) will add an extra 50% to your donation. Individuals may give up to $3,000 (or $6,000 per household). Matching funds are awarded once the museum reaches $1,000 in total gifts. Organizations that do not meet the $1,000 minimum will not receive matching funds. So please help us meet this goal.

The match pool is made possible in collaboration with the GSCF and private donors.

Gifts can be made by check or credit card

  • Via Mail: You may send your donation via USPS from NOW until March 12, 2026.
    • First, complete the Match Madness Donation Form. Enter the amount of your gift on the line St. John’s Military School Historical Museum.
    • If paying by check, make it payable to the Greater Salina Community Foundation with Match Madness for SJMSHM in the memo line.
    • If using a credit card, complete the information requested. Please note that all credit card gifts are subject to a 2.9% + 30¢ transaction fee

    • All donations must be postmarked before midnight on March 12, 2026.
  • Online: On March 12th, go to www.matchmadnessgscf.org and select the St. John’s Military School Historical Museum tab from the options provided. Then, click on the checkout button located at the bottom of the page and complete the online form. Keep in mind that all donations must be submitted between midnight and 11:59 pm on March 12, 2026.
    • All credit card gifts are subject to a 2.9% + 30¢ transaction fee.
